Ceiling collapse traced to a pinhole leak
A kitchen ceiling had collapsed at this Sale property. On inspection, we found a pinhole leak in a copper pipe above the ceiling. We replaced the full accessible length of copper pipe. These photos show the ceiling damage and the small leak that caused it.
Rodent damage to a water supply pipe
Rodents had damaged the incoming water pipe at a property in Reddish, Stockport. We cut out and replaced the damaged section. The close-up shows the damaged blue pipe; the second photo shows the exposed pipe connection at the work area.

Emergency callout in Stockport: hole in a central heating pipe
We attended an emergency callout after a central heating pipe beneath the floorboards was damaged. We removed and replaced the damaged section. The photograph shows the hole before repair.
Plastic pipe disconnected above a ceiling
We cut away a section of plasterboard ceiling to trace a leak and found that a plastic pipe had come out of its fitting. An original installation fault was suspected. Replacement work was carried out and tested on completion.
Washing machine standpipe leak
A leak in the utility area of a property at Wilburn Basin was traced to loose fittings on the washing machine standpipe. We repaired the leak. The photo shows the waste pipe assembly and the surrounding area.

Lead mains leak beneath concrete
A customer could hear water running continuously through the pipework. We found a split incoming lead pipe beneath the concrete floor, opened the floor to access and repair it, then backfilled and reinstated the concrete. We recommended replacement of the remaining lead supply, explaining the complications of its shared connection with neighbouring terraced properties.
Toilet leaking when flushed
A heavily corroded close-coupling kit and the doughnut washer were causing this toilet to leak when flushed. We replaced both and restored the toilet to working order. The photo shows the condition of the old components with the cistern removed.
Split copper pipe in a garage
Cold weather and insufficient lagging had caused this garage pipe to split. We cut out and replaced the damaged section, then lagged it. The photo shows the split in the old copper pipe.
